The continuing Policy of Commercial Body Fittings Ltd is to provide a high quality, professional and efficient service to ensure the satisfaction of all of the requirements of our Customers. This achievement will result in securing efficiency, a strong customer focus and enhancement of long-term sustainability and profitability within the Organisation.

The Management Team will show leadership, commitment, and strategic direction and will bear the responsibility for establishing, implementing, integrating and maintaining the Quality Management System.

We undertake to ensure sufficient resources are made available within the Organisation to achieve this. We undertake to ensure through communication, engagement, practical example and training that Quality is the aim of all members of the Organisation.

Through direction and support, each employee will have a proper understanding of the importance of the Quality System function, their responsibility to contribute to its effectiveness, and its direct relevance to the success of the Organisation.

Equally, every employee is responsible for and will be trained to perform the duties required by his or her specific role.

The Organisation has a Policy of promoting continual improvement and setting of Quality Objectives in line with the framework laid down within ISO 9001:2015 Standard. These objectives will also address the risks and opportunities within the Organisation as determined by Top Management.

We confirm that the Quality Policy, Quality Manual & the Standard Operating Procedures Manual have been developed to meet & accurately describe the Quality System in use within the Organisation to meet the requirements of ISO 9001:2015.

The Quality System will be monitored, measured, evaluated and enhanced regularly under the Top Management’s ultimate responsibility, with regular reporting and communication of the status and effectiveness at all levels.

Occupational Health & Safety Policy Statement

Commercial Body Fittings Ltd. is a safety-conscious organisation, which values the effective management of health, safety and welfare throughout all parts of its business. The company has a clear objective to minimise harm to persons and property, with a proactive approach to effective risk management, whilst aiming to eliminate hazards and reduce occupational health and safety risks. All work is undertaken in accordance with best practice, with all reasonably practicable measures adopted, to avoid risk to employees and others who may be affected.

Management and supervisory staff have the responsibility for implementing the policy throughout the company and must ensure that health and safety considerations are always given priority in planning and day-to-day supervision of all work.

Commercial Body Fittings Ltd. will fully comply with the requirements of Statutory Legislation, whilst also complying with best practices and the requirements and duties defined within Approved Codes of Practice and Guidance (as issued by the Health and Safety Executive) and is fully committed to the continual improvement of the occupational health and safety management system.

All employees and sub-contractors are expected to cooperate and assist in the implementation of this policy, whilst ensuring that their own works, so far as reasonably practicable, are undertaken with no risk to themselves, others, or the environment. This includes cooperating with the management on any health, safety or environmental matters. Commercial Body Fittings Ltd. will ensure consultation and participation of workers when considering any health and safety matters.

Commercial Body Fittings Ltd. will take all practical steps to ensure that potential hazards and risks are identified; that suitable and effective preventative and control measures are implemented and provide safe and healthy working conditions for the prevention of work-related injury and ill health. This will include issuing all employees with the necessary tools, equipment and personal protective equipment, to safely perform their duties. All necessary financial resources will be made available, by Commercial Body Fittings Ltd., in order for the company to comply with its statutory duties and requirements of this policy.

All employees will be provided with instruction and training in safe methods of work and the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of tools and equipment. The Managing Director has overall responsibility for all health, safety, welfare and environmental matters. This policy and associated procedures set out the framework for the occupational health and safety objectives within Commercial Body Fittings Ltd and will be monitored and reviewed on a regular basis, to ensure they measure the effectiveness of the management system.

Commercial Body Fittings Ltd is committed to the care of the environment and endeavours to achieve this in a manner which is proportionate to the nature, scale and environmental impacts of its activities.
The management accepts responsibility to fulfil its Environmental Policy. All employees at all levels are given to understand their responsibility to care for the environment.

  • Transport products in proper packaging (recyclable where possible) other than using our own vans, using only reputable carriers with their own Environmental & Quality Policies.
  • Dispose of all waste in a responsible manner through properly licensed &qualified contractors.
  • Save energy and use sustainable materials where possible.
  • Ensure packaging, wood, paper, metals & other relevant materials are recycled or incinerated (Zero waste to Landfill). Reuse cardboard boxes & other packing materials where possible.
  • Promoting environmental awareness amongst our Suppliers & Customers by the implementation of operational procedures.
  • Protection of the environment, including the prevention of pollution and reduce pollutant emissions to a minimum wherever possible.
  • Keeping sites clean and tidy to ensure minimum disturbance and disruption toStaff, Visitors & our neighbours.
  • Ensuring all employees are involved in the development, implementation & understanding the Policy and what is expected of them. As well as providing adequate facilities & information to enable them to carry out this function.
  • The Directors & Operations Manager will provide leadership, appropriate resources, training & information for all Managers to assist them in implementing the Environmental Policy & adhere to the relevant statutory requirements.
  • Work closely with our Customers, Suppliers, Contractors & Visitors to establish Environmental standards.
  • Fulfil our compliance obligations, continually reference Government Websites for Environmental information & any changes in Laws & Regulations that may involve the Company(Environmental Agency, Local Authorities & HSE etc).
  • Regularly develop & implement beneficial Objectives & Targets as part of our various Business Plans.
  • Continually improve the environmental management system to enhance environmental performance.
  • Continuous Improvement Committee will transfer knowledge, changes & legislative changes to ISO14001 & ISO45001 to other members of Staff.

C.B.F. is strongly committed to protecting the privacy of our Customers & Suppliers. This Privacy Policy explains our approach about processing of our Customers & Suppliers Company / Personal information.

We will hold your details on our internal system and will do our best to ensure the security of your details by using up-to-date industry practices which guard against unauthorised access, use, disclosure or loss.

Your Company/ Personal details will not be used in ways to which you have not consented.

It is possible to view our site without providing any Company / Personal details.

Use of Information and Preferences

We will only ask for Company/ Personal information from you where it is necessary for us to provide services to you or you to C.B.F. We will only collect information where it is specifically and knowingly provided by you. For example, we will ask for your name, e-mail address and physical address, telephone number & where applicable payment card details, when you place an Order or the Company places an Order with you.

We will use this information to process your Order and payment. If you default on payments, we may disclose your relevant details to debt collection agencies.

We may also review the Products you buy/sell to enable us to give you/us information about Products and services that may be of mutual interest.

We keep a record of your e-mails to assist in our management of your transactions with us.

Your telephone calls to us may be recorded and monitored for quality control, training and service delivery purposes.

We will also use your contact details to communicate with you, however, we will not do this if you tell us not to. The only other circumstances when we may provide details, from which you are identifiable to third parties, are where we are required to do so by law; in order to administer your order, or our Order (see section on Payment Details below); to our suppliers who process Orders; Carriers who deliver on our behalf in the U.K. or abroad, inside or outside the E.E.A., and where required for business succession reasons.

We may occasionally need to contact you to enable us or you to fulfil Orders correctly. Or if you are the Supplier & we need to contact you over relevant Order & delivery details. On such an occasion, we will normally try to reach you by telephone or e-mail. If you have told us that you would prefer us to use a particular form of contact, we will endeavor to do so.

From time to time, we may also send Customers a letter, e-mail or other communication, telling you about new products or special offers, which we believe may be of interest to you. We may ask for your views on our products or services to improve our efficiency (Customer Survey). We will not send you any non-administrative e-mails or text messages without your consent.

In addition, we will send letters or e-mails to Customers & Suppliers with information about all Company closure dates.

You can remove yourself from our mailing list at any time, by contacting our office, or by clicking on the unsubscribe button on receipt of an email relating to Product information. (Your email address will be automatically removed & added to a ‘suppression’ list, which means we cannot use the email address for further contact).

Security Policy
